With tens of millions of students around the world out of school, educators and parents need help facilitating ongoing learning from a distance. The same is true for the millions of creative professionals, from nonprofits like museums to those in the wellness industry, who were suddenly forced to find new ways to connect with people who depend on their services. Creative educational content on platforms like TikTok can help, and we will be providing $50M in grants to educators, professional experts, and nonprofits whose real-world skills and expertise can help spread educational information and useful course material in an accessible, distance learning format.

Excited to announce that I’ve signed with 5ive Talent and TikTok to produce educational content through their platform. As many of you know, I am always looking for more ways to give back, educate, and serve my greater community - social media has been an accessible way to do so! As mentioned above, TikTok is not only pledging $50M to education-based content via their Creative Learning Fund, but over $250M towards their greater initiative to support COVID-19 repercussions.

Known for viral content involving dancing, humor, and other forms of entertainment, TikTok’s motive behind this initiative is to spur educational content in order to promote social distance and virtual learning. On top of the Creative Learning Fund, TikTok is supporting front line medical workers through their Health Heroes Relief Fund, they are aiding with community impact funding via their Community Relief Fund, as well as additional donations towards mental health and public education.
